Mr. Dehone began as a pastime project. I conceived him in some idle hours during a period of shooting in Santiago de Chile in August 2018. This site and the idea of video blogs were developed around the main character.

There were probably many reasons for me to do something like this: I wanted to create a cartoonish but believable character, act it out and also improvise in a different language, to approach acting from a different perspective than before, to make all of this look "real", to push the boundaries of personal embarrassment and to get a few laughs from friends. Mostly I started doing this just for the heck of it. It still cracks me up, and I don't know why.
